Bill Sigmon, AEP Senior Vice President of Engineering, Projects and Field Services  sat down for an interview with the Global CCS Institute to discuss AEP’s Mountaineer Plant CO2 Capture project. 

The Mountaineer project planned to capture approximately 90 per cent of the carbon dioxide from a 235 megawatt electric (MWe) slipstream from the 1300 MWe Mountaineer power plant, which is located along the Ohio River near New Haven, West Virginia, USA. The project is currently on hold.
