The report is an extensive reference guide for industry, government, research bodies and the broader community.

The Global CCS Institute was pleased to run the second of a three-part webinar series on  CO2  storage. This webinar series was presented in Spanish, and is part of the Global CCS Institute’s capacity development program with the Mexican Academic Council of Earth Science Schools on the education of carbon capture and storage (CCS).

The second webinar focused on ‘Fundamentals of modelling COmovement underground’. The Institute is pleased that Vanessa Nuñez, Research Scientist Associate at the Gulf Coast Carbon Center of the University of Texas at Austin’s Bureau of Economic Geology, will be presenting this webinar series.

The Second Sustainable Earth Science Conference and Exhibition will be held in Pau, France, 30 September - 4 October 2013, organised by the EAGE in cooperation with CO2GeoNet, EGEC, House of Geoscience and Avenia. Building on the success of the first SES conference in Valencia, Spain (2011), this conference aims to create a platform for geoscientists to meet, learn and discuss “Technologies for Sustainable Use of the Deep Sub-surface.”
