2nd Canadian CCS Study Tour
The Global CCS Institute is proud to be hosting the 2nd Canadian CCS Study Tour on September 26th to October 5th 2017 in Edmonton, Alberta. This year’s tour includes a discussions with Shell and the Alberta Government to understand regulation and policy that enabled CCS to move forward. The tour will also have site tours of the Shell Quest Capture and Storage facility as well as the Alberta Trunk Line Project Capture facilities (North West Refinery and Agrium Fertilizer Plant). Attendees for the Study Tour are then invited to attend the International CCS Knowledge Centre Symposium in Regina, Saskatchewan, October 3rd to 5th, where there will be discussions around how CCS is being done. The Symposium will include a tour of the Boundary Dam Capture facility and Aquistore Storage site. The 2017 Canadian CCS Study Tour registration is now open to members and non-members. The registration is limited to 40 attendees, so members and non-members are encouraged to sign up as soon as possible.
