Getica CCS Demo Project Feasibility Study – CO₂ Capture

Gabriel Ignat, Getica CCS Project Manager at ISPE (Institute for Studies and Power Engineering) in Romania spent some time talking with the team at the Global CCS Institute about the results of their feasibility study for the Getica CCS Demonstration Project’s CO₂ capture facility.

During his talk, Gabriel gave a good overview of the Turceni Power Plant in Oltenia, Romania, before providing an overview of their feasibility study results, including the chilled ammonia process and its advantages, and integration of the capture plant with the power plant.
