Why we need a Communications and Engagement Toolkit for CCS Projects

Today we will hear from Peta Ashworth - Group Leader - Science into Society at the Australian Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) who will talk to us about the catalyst for the creation of the Communications and Engagement Toolkit for CCS Projects, its evolution, and how the toolkit should be an organic document which will evolve with the input and contributions from practical applications from CCS or other energy technology related projects.

The toolkit has been developed as a practical guide to help project proponents plan their engagement activities more effectively, and provides a range of methods and activities for addressing social considerations for successful CCS project deployment. The Institute commissioned the toolkit with CSIRO in association with the global social research network. Click here to review the toolkit.
