Results of Call for Nominations to the Board Selection Panel

On 13 June 2012 the Institute issued a Call for Nominations to fill upcoming Board Selection Panel vacancies in the Major Industry and Government Member categories.

As outlined in the call for nominations, each year two members of the Board Selection Panel are required to retire. This year, Mr David White representing the Institute’s Major Industry Members, and Mr Drew Clarke representing Government Members were due to retire on 31 December 2012. The Company’s Constitution allows Board Selection Panel Members to serve a second term and both Mr Clarke and Mr White advised of their availability to serve a second term.

The closing date for call for nominations was 20 July 2012.  As of this date the Institute had not received any additional nominations in either member category. The Institute is therefore pleased to advise that Drew Clarke and David White are automatically elected to the Board Selection Panel for a second consecutive term of three years (to 31 December 2015) in their respective member categories.
