A city startup backed by corporate heavyweights Bill Gates and Murray Edwards for its carbon capture technology is competing for the top spot in Richard Branson’s contest for money.
Carbon Engineering, a fledgling firm that grew from the research of former University of Calgary professor David Keith, is vying to win $25 million in funding from the Virgin Group founder’s Virgin Earth Challenge.
