Call for CCS experts to join new UN Working Group

Following the acceptance of CCS as an eligible technology under the UNFCCC’s Clean Development Mechanism (CDM), the CDM Executive Board has agreed to establish a CCS Working Group. The Working Group will support the Board in the creation of methodological standards, guidelines and other matters applicable to proposed CCS project activities under the CDM. A call for applications by CCS experts wishing to act as members of the Working Group has now been issued, and is available here.

Applications close on 10 June, and will be considered at the next Executive Board meeting in July.
