Non-Foundation Members
Applications for membership will be assessed by the Board against the criteria for membership, in accordance with the Constitution.
Applications can be made by completing and submitting one of the relevant forms:
- Application for Membership to the Global CCS Institute (General); or
- Application for Membership to the Global CCS Institute (Australian Company) for a company registered under the Australian Corporations Act 2001 (cth).
Applicants are strongly encouraged to submit a short covering letter against the criteria for membership that addresses the organisation’s:
- Commitment to accelerating the global adoption of safe, commercial and environmentally sustainable CCS, including through the delivery of a diverse portfolio of at least 20 fully integrated, industrial-scale demonstration projects operating by 2020 and the overcoming of barriers to broad industrial-scale deployment; and
- Ability to carry on a business or activity where the advancement of CCS is not merely incidental to its core business or activities.

Governments, corporations or organisations not on this list of - Foundation Members and Collaborating Partners - must apply for legal membership as a Non-Foundation Member. Please note that the opportunity to become Foundations Members of the Global CCS Institute ended on 30 June 2009.
