IP Management for Power Capture in the Closure Stage

Objective

To produce and manage closure stage intellectual property (IP) and knowledge, and to finalise IP and knowledge management procedures for use in other projects.

Major Deliverables

  • IP and knowledge deliverables for power and capture in the closure stage
  • IP and knowledge management strategy document and procedures used throughout the project, for use in future projects

Tasks

Specific tasks include the following:

  • Modify and implement procedures for secure management of IP information for the closure phase
  • Complete closure stage knowledge transfer / sharing activities
  • Produce IP / knowledge deliverables for power and capture for closure stage.  These may include:
    • Technical knowledge relating to closure of capture plant
    • Final procedures for secure management of IP and knowledge used throughout the project for potential use in future projects
    • Final IP and knowledge management strategy document describing
      • Tasks to undertaken in all stages relating to IP and knowledge, including knowledge transfer
      • Knowledge deliverables produced in all stages
      • Extent/map of final IP ownership for the capture plant
      • Descriptions of new or incremental IP / knowledge produced during project
      • Ownership of new IP/knowledge, including “black”, “white” and “grey” lists i.e. secret, public, and limited access information
      • Description of knowledge transfer / sharing activities carried out during project Including who was responsible for implementing knowledge transfer/sharing in each stage
      • IP requirements throughout the project e.g. licenses for the key suppliers for the capture process
