Institute-Supported Projects
Through the Project Support Program, the Institute is now directly engaging with large-scale, integrated projects to address the barriers to deployment and leverage key knowledge sharing products for wider dissemination among Institute Members and the wider CCS community.
Knowledge from these supported projects is being captured from different stages of the project life cycle, across technologies and geographic regions. In addition to being shared through the Institute’s knowledge platform, it will be shared with the broader industry via workshops, Thematic Group discussions and one-on-one meetings.
For project proponents, the Project Support Program provides the financial support required to conduct targeted studies which address barriers to CCS project development. Providing this support allows the Institute to establish relationships with key projects and to gain access to the knowledge and expertise generated.
The Institute is currently supporting the following projects:
- Rotterdam CCS Network Project, Rotterdam, Netherlands
- Tenaska Trailblazer Energy Center, Texas, USA
- Entergy Nelson 6 Carbon Capture & Sequestration Project, Louisiana, USA
