Angus joined the Institute in 2018 and is based in Scotland. Previously, he was Vice President CO2 for Shell where he shaped many of the organisation’s CO2 related activities, including the use of internal carbon pricing, project design standards, carbon footprint measurement as well as external ambitions and, of course, Shell’s CCS strategy. Ahead of the 12 years leading much of Shell’s renewables and low carbon activities Angus worked mostly in its upstream exploration and production businesses, and prior to that in a range of industries and roles including insurance, consultancy, transport and almost ten years in the power sector.
Angus is an Economics graduate from the University of Stirling and holds an MBA from Heriot-Watt University.
