CCS Seminar “Future Business Models for CCS”, Evening Cocktail Reception & CCS Safari
The Global CCS Institute is organising a series of events on March 21 and 22 in Oslo, Norway.
On the afternoon of March 21, the Institute’s CCS Seminar will offer an overview of the global status of CCS and new business models for commercial CCS. The event will also address the role of CCS as the conduit to a new energy economy of hydrogen production. Participants will have the chance to get insights into various CCS facilities and projects and engage in in-depth discussions with industry leaders and experts. The Seminar will gather speakers representing various industries engaged in CCS projects globally. The Seminar will be hosted at Diagonale, Dronning Eufemias Gate 11, 0191 Oslo. The Seminar will be followed by an Evening Reception from 17:50-19:30 where you will have the opportunity to network with representatives from industry, civil society and public authorities.
The following day, March 22, the Institute is hosting a CCS Safari to industrial plants that are part of the large-scale Norway full-chain CCS development. The Safari will include a site visit to the waste incineration plant at Klemetsrud. Participants will have the opportunity to visit the world’s first waste incinerator with carbon capture technology. Participants will also have the chance to visit the Norcem cement plant in Brevik which hosts a test facility for CO2 capture.
