The UK Mission to the EU and the Global CCS Institute are hosting the panel discussion and reception Delivering on Net-Zero: Supporting Industrial Decarbonisation with CCS.

Our keynote speaker, Sam White, Director - Industrial Energy at the UK Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS)  will present the UK’s industrial decarbonisation action plans and the importance of CCS across energy intensive sectors and potential business models to incentivise the technology in industry.

This will be followed by a presentation of the Global Status of CCS report by the Global CCS Institute and a panel discussion with distinguished speakers on the latest developments of CCS in the UK and Europe, how to advance CCS deployment and mobilise green finance for this climate mitigation technology.
