COP 26: Moving the Needle Forward on Climate Action and Climate Technology

28th September 2021

Location(s): Virtual

Every year, the UN Conference of the Parties (COP) brings together government leaders, climate experts, ENGOs and industry from around the world to move the needle forward on climate ambition. After a one-year postponement, COP has the potential drive alignment on the green recovery following the pandemic. With international climate targets aiming to reach climate neutrality by 2050, climate technologies like CCS are increasingly becoming a key tool to reduce carbon emissions. • International Energy Agency (IEA) - Samantha McCulloch, Head of Carbon Capture Utilisation and Storage Unit
  • Clean Energy Ministerial CCUS Initiative - Juho Lipponen, Coordinator
  • Global CCS Institute - Guloren Turan, General Manager of Advocacy and Communications
