The Institute attends the inaugural European Climate Summit
26th April 2019
The Institute attended the inaugural European Climate Summit in Lisbon from 15 to 17 April. Led by International Emissions Trading Association (IETA), the event brought together leading climate and energy practitioners to discuss and analyse key developments in carbon markets and emissions trading, green finance, industry decarbonisation and energy transition, and beyond.
Eve Tamme, Senior Advisor for International Climate Policy, shared the CCS perspective at the Industrial Decarbonisation session. John Scowcroft, Executive Advisor EMEA, provided his insights during the Competitiveness and Carbon Pricing session, and during IETA’s 20th Anniversary session.
A wide range of participants followed up with detailed questions during the conference, proving yet again the growing interest in CCS.
