Senate confirms Christopher Smith

On 12 December 2014, the Global CCS Institute hosted its 14th Study Meeting in Tokyo at a venue provided by the Center for Low Carbon Society Strategy of Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST).

On 11 December Petronas Carigali announced a CCS project associated with the K5 gas field development off the coast of Sarawak. The gas field has a high CO2 concentration (70%) that will be reduced to 6.5% to be suitable for liquefied natural gas processing.
