Melbourne: Monday 8 October, 2018: Latest Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) findings released today are further confirmation that carbon capture and storage (CCS) is essential to mitigating climate change.

 In this position paper, the Institute highlights the urgent need to scale up the deployment of CCS to meet global climate targets and net-zero by the second half of the century. The Institute also highlight the value of CCS for Europe, its industries and citizens.
