As the key consultation mechanism for the project, the Global CCS Institute hosted a series of regional roundtable discussions in North America, Europe and Asia to source views on the development of an internationally recognised definition of CCS Ready. These roundtables brought together participants from governments, industry and other stakeholders to explore opportunities for a recognised definition, consider potential industrial plant issues associated with CCS ready and recommend assess gains from CCS ready regulation.

The outcomes of these roundtables have been distilled into a final report which and recommended practices for policymakers considering implementing a CCS ready policy.
