Lorcan joined the Institute in June 2026 as the PLRC Lead (Research) within the Global Research and Analysis team.
Prior to joining the Institute, Lorcan worked as a Senior Policy Advisor in the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, developing policy across the UK’s electricity and gas networks.
Lorcan holds a master’s in science in Earth Science from Imperial College London.
