2024 Europe Forum on Carbon Capture and Storage

Save the date for the Global CCS Institute's 2024 Europe Forum on Carbon Capture and Storage, which will take place on 17 April in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.

Held every year, the Europe Forum is an opportunity for policy leaders, NGOs, industry experts, academics, those in the financial sector and the general public to meet and discuss the state of carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS) technology in Europe.

This year's forum will feature panel discussions on CCS project development in Europe, along with conversations on policy mechanisms supporting the scale-up of the technology. We will also host insightful presentations and fireside chats on CCS business models, and the progress of carbon dioxide removal technologies in Europe.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to take part in one of four break sessions of their choosing, covering topics including:

  • Insights on funding mechanisms for CCS in Europe
  • CCS and job market readiness
  • The evolution of CO2 storage in Europe
  • CCS and the Carbon Removal Certification Frameworks

We will be joined by a number of CCS speakers from a range of organisation's including:

  • The North Sea Transition Authority
  • The Government of the Netherlands
  • IEA
  • Holcim
  • European Roundtable on Climate Change and Sustainable Transition
  • The European Commission
  • Porthos

and many others!

Please note that registration for the 2024 Europe Forum is separate to the 2024 Europe Members Meeting.
