Anda Nugroho joined the Global CCS Institute in early 2024 as an Economist, based in Brisbane, Australia. He has over 10 years of experience in policy impact analysis and economic modeling across diverse ministries in Indonesia. His skills include developing economic models, conducting policy impact assessments, creating reports and papers, and designing dashboards for economic models.
Before joining the institute, Anda had worked on and led various economic projects and contributed to the real policy-making process. These include energy subsidy reforms, fiscal incentives for emission reduction, and a country-wide assessment of the National Determined Contribution.
Furthermore, Anda has collaborated with academic experts and published on broad topics of economics and energy. His works appear in peer-reviewed journals such as the Journal of Policy Modeling, Journal of Economic Modeling, The World Economy, Sustainable Development, Australasian Journal of Environmental Management, Economic Analysis and Policy, among others. Additionally, he contributes to working papers, book chapters, and technical reports for various institutions. Currently, Anda is on the path to completing his Ph.D. in Economics at Griffith University.
