Jerrad is a Senior CC Technologies Lead based in Houston, TX of the United States.

Before joining the Global CCS Institute, Jerrad worked as a Business Development Manager for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries America, Inc. (MHIA) focused on carbon capture. Prior to MHIA, he managed a large-scale carbon capture demonstration program for Southern Company, a large electric utility in the United States. His work demonstrating carbon capture at large scale for Southern Company earned two R&D100 awards, a first for the company’s research organization. Jerrad also worked at Eastman Chemical Company focused on commercializing amine solvents for carbon capture and midstream acid gas sweetening applications.

Jerrad has spent a decade working directly on carbon capture. Jerrad is an honors graduate from the University of Alabama, having completed Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemical Engineering and Physics, and he is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Alabama.
