Senior Consultant – Storage
Joey is one of the Institute’s Senior Consultants in Carbon Storage Technology, based in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining the Institute, he accumulated 15 years of international experience in the energy industry, with assignments in Melbourne, Australia, and Houston, Texas.
Throughout his career, Joey has worked in business development, hydrocarbon exploration and development, and geoscience research in the Americas, Africa, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific. Joey is now focused on helping organizations, governments, and corporations decrease their global CO2 emissions by working to accelerate CCS deployment across the globe.
Joey’s expertise is in subsurface analysis including trap mapping, structural and stratigraphic analysis, basin analysis, and resource and storage assessment.
Joey holds a Master of Science degree in Geology from the University of Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
