Senior International Climate Change Policy Adviser
Noora is the Institute’s Senior International Climate Change Policy Adviser, based in London. She brings with her a spectrum of experience having worked closely with governments, businesses, NGOs and multilaterals worldwide.
Noora has served as one of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain’s lead negotiators at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), where she has coordinated for the Group of 77 & China and has worked with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the Green Climate Fund (GCF), the Adaptation Fund and the Small Island Development States (SIDS). Working bilaterally, she has been a regional and country liaison for various key strategic partnerships.
Noora has also held positions in the Climate Change and Sustainability Services department at Ernst & Young Middle East Head Office and in the Climate and Energy department at Greenpeace EU Unit.
She holds an undergraduate degree in Ecological Science (Conservation and Ecological Management) from the University of Edinburgh and a Masters degree in Managing Environmental Change from the University of St. Andrews.
