Ruth is the Senior Events and Comms Lead of the Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) region, based in London, U.K. She has been with the Institute since June 2020.

Prior to joining the Institute, Ruth spent six years working in the public sector in Toronto, Canada, including Ontario's Ministry of the Environment in issues management and media relations roles. Following her time in government, Ruth worked in the banking sector, with a focus on change management communications in compliance and risk.

Ruth holds a Bachelors Degree in Liberal Arts and Professional Studies (Honours) from York University and a Certificate in Business Communications from the University of Toronto.
