Shahrzad is a chartered professional chemical engineer with more than seven years of experience in the oil and gas sector in the Middle East and a further 8 years of experience in renewable hydrogen production and storage pilot plant development projects in Australia.

Shahrzad’s main expertise is in process-related mathematical and analytical modelling, concept development and feasibility studies, troubleshooting, and process improvement projects.

Shahrzad received her PhD in metal-hydride tank system design for renewable energy storage applications from Griffith University. She has been part of the research and supervisory teams at key universities in Queensland, Australia, and currently is an industry fellow at Faculty of Engineering of Queensland University of Technology.
