Climate Policy and Communications Adviser
Yi joined the Institute in August 2017 as Client Engagement Associate, based in Beijing.
In her current role, Yi is responsible for client engagement activities in China, including delivering high-quality member service, managing external relationships, client prospecting, events/projects management and advocacy enhancement. Her area of interest focuses on CCS and climate change policy analysis.
Prior to join the Institute, she worked for National Development and Reform Commission on secondment from National Center for Climate Change Strategy and International Cooperation. During this time, she worked on a range of climate change issues, including legislation, financing, international cooperation, and capacity building. She also gained experience in project and financial management.
Yi holds a MA in European Studies and MSc in Creative Cities from King’s College London as well as a BA in Italian Literature and Culture from Beijing Foreign Studies University.
