世界の産業向けCCS技術のロードマップ 部門別評価：排出源とシンクのマッチング

本調査の目的は、産業向けCCSの展開可能性を明らかにするため、OECD非加盟国において、選定した5つの工業部門での「ソース・シンク」マッチングを行うことである。本調査で実施した評価は、UNIDOの「産業界におけるCCSに関する世界技術ロードマップ（Global Technology Roadmap for CCS in Industry）」というより大きな枠組みの一環として行ったものである。したがって、本調査は、世界の温室効果ガス（GHG）排出削減目標を2050年までに達成するために必要なレベルにまで産業向けCCSの展開を進めようとする場合に取り組むべき主要課題を特定する際の基礎となる。本書で行った分析では、CO₂の各工業排出源を、十分なCO₂貯留容量を持つ可能性があると判断される各地層と組み合わせる定性的なソース・シンクマッチング法を用いており、世界の11のOECD非加盟地域に焦点をあてている。
