이 보고서는 ROAD 프로젝트 팀이 개발한 선정 방법론에 대해 설명 및 평가하고 있다. 예비 연구 단계에서 필요한 제안서 요건(‘RFP’)부터 포집 플랜트 공급자의 최종 선정까지를 다룬다. 보고서의 목적은 기타 유사 프로젝트(연소 후 기술을 활용하려는 CCS 프로젝트)에서 각 포집 플랜트 공급자 선정 방법론을 설계하는 과정에 도움을 주는 것이다. 넓은 의미에서는 보고서에 포함된 분석이 다른 종류의 CCS 프로젝트 및 기타 신기술을 적용하는 프로젝트에도 활용될 수 있을 것이다.
