Europe Members Meeting – Germany
31st January 2024
We are holding a Members meeting at the Industrie-Club Düsseldorf on Wednesday, the 31st of January, kindly hosted by our members Air Liquide and Drax Group.
We start off the days event with a site visit in the morning to the Lhoist lime plant Everest project in Wülfrath. (1/2 an hour bus ride). Everest is an innovative carbon capture project with the objective to achieve the full decarbonisation of the largest lime plant in Europe. In collaboration with Air Liquide, Lhoist aims to capture more than one million tons of CO2 emissions per year.
For the site visit please kindly note the below:

- Lhoist will issue the safety equipment (helmet, goggles, safety vest).
- All guests must bring their own, sturdy footwear - preferably hiking boots or rubber boots.
- There are also sanitary facilities here, which should be used before departure, as there is no opportunity to do so during the tour.

9am - Bus Collection. Please note that collection will be from the bus stop around the corner from the industrie club.
The Industrie club will open from 8.30am if you need to drop off coats in the cloakroom.

- 12.45pm- Bus drop off - The bus will drop off at the same bus stop around the corner from the industrie club
