On Wednesday, 18 January 2023, the Institute will be co-hosting the MENA Region CCS forum in Abu Dhabi, UAE
This meeting will be an in-person event and will take place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC) from 10:00 to 17:00 GST.
Topics to be addressed during the meeting would include regional and international updates, discussions on the hard-to-abate industries and CCUS business models.

The Global CCS Institute, Clean Energy Ministerial CCUS Initiative, Clean Air Task Force and King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Center will co-host a CCUS event in the sidelines of the World Future Energy Summit in Abu Dhabi, on Wednesday 18 January 2023. CCUS is a key lever for industrial decarbonisation globally, and in the Gulf Region. The event offers insights into leading countries’ CCUS policy programmes and leading companies’ CCUS project experience. The event also provides a platform for discussion and dialogue on how to accelerate CCUS in various industries and how governments in the region and globally can provide policy frameworks conducive for investment.
